The Indian Food Processing Sector
Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI) empowers professionals in the Food Processing sector through skilling, certification, and placement support. We design industry-driven courses, create modern learning resources, and build expert facilitators through Training of Trainers (ToT). With robust assessments and certifications, we validate candidate skills to meet industry benchmarks. FICSI also advises Government and industry on policies to strengthen skill development and drive growth in the sector.
FICSI’s Food Processing Skills Training is not limited to creating entrepreneurs and talent for the industry but also for addressing macro issues like unlocking the true value of Indian agricultural output, sustainability, women empowerment, health, nutrition and food security.
