Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI) organized first ever webinar of it’s kind for Mahatma Gandhi National Fellows (MGNFs) on Skill project in Food Processing Sector at the district level across the nation on 22nd June,2022. The following are the agenda points were discussed under the webinar:

i) Introduction of FICSI and its involvement in the skilling ecosystem
ii) Discussion with MGNFs on how FICSI’s activities can be converged with the MGN Fellow’s activities at the district level

Approx. 200 MGN Fellows participated in the webinar and shared their queries about the Skill Training in Food Processing sector, the required support and employment and entrepreneurship opportunities etc. CEO, FICSI – Mr. Sunil K Marwah shared the insightful information related to importance of the Food Processing sector and potential for the youth in this sector.
